No Reverse no neutral after trans build! Help!

Thought I would share my issue :) LOL this was a surprise to me completely. Was seated incorrectly when my friend built it I guess.

Replaced this with an old one out of a trans that was sitting around and the car works flawlessly. Changed the band as well with a brand new one. Very impressed with the shifts and converter from IPT!

It's good to see that you've figured it out. I've been following this thread from the beginning as I have a transmission at home that has no 1st, 2nd or reverse. Is that the front drum that you found broken?

Yes sir the forward drum. I'm not sure how I didn't notice this the first time I had it out, perhaps I didn't take it apart far enough. Was a surprisingly clean break in the drum. I had a local transmission shop inspect the trans after and he said in 25+ years and rebuilding 50+ of these transmissions he hasn't ever seen something like this though. I'm pretty sure it's not common at all but I'm not sure.
