First of all thanks in advance! I need this car for a daily driver and quick because I had to sell my Durango.
The car starts out with good power but once you reach about 3500 - 4000 rpm it loses all power unless you barely give it gas. I've changed plugs (3 times), plug wires, coil pack, mass air flow, fuel filter (had to switch back to used one because the new one leaked), I've done boost leak, checked fuel pressure. What else am I missing? the plugs become black sooty looking after 1 mile of driving. They are dry no oil in cylinder. It is running rich but what am I missing? Once the car is warmed up it does not idle very well. If it is cold it idles good. Here is a picture of a brand new ngk after 1 mile of driving.

yeah it runs again you guys were right the ecu was the problem. I swapped my 90 ecu in and runs good but now throwing a cel. I would assume its from o2 from running rich so trying to reload my palm to check. Thanks again guys. To those of you who read in future never be afraid to check things twice it pays off.
