douglasville,
me and my buddy just got done installing my motor and everything and we forgot / didnt know we had to prime the oil pump before hand. so we go by the manual and crank on the car with the ignition and fuel cutoff to see if it would create enough vaccumm to suck the oil into the pump that way , it didnt work . i was seeing if anybody knew any toher way to get oil pressure before initial startup??

Pull the oil sender, (not sensor) install a hose barb and use a drill motor oil pump to pump a quart or 2 into the system. When you see oil while looking through the oil filler cap you should have enough to start if all is properly done. Drain or pump out the excess oil after it's gotten warm.

Don't feel alone, read through some of this ongoing trauma.
