Mississauga,
My cars basically been sitting during the last 2 years and has recently had the head removed to be freshened up + new cams. I also replaced the timing belt and tensioner. I've recently put the car back together and when I crank the car over with the fuel pump and mpi fuse disconnected to prime it, the oil pressure gage is completely dead but the low oil pressure light doesn't come on (it did at first but now it doesnt). Is this probably just a dead oil pressure sending unit? I checked the connections and cleaned them off but they appear to be okay. I didn't mess with the oil pump when I did the head/timing belt.
