Hello, I'm from ARUBA. I'm new to this forum. I hope that this post is in the right Thread. I have a question and hope someone can help me out. I just got my Engine back. They Fully Overhauled it with new belts and gaskets. JE Pistons, Eagle Rods, Crower Springs, BSR, and new Oilpump and new waterpump. Now that we went to fire it up, There is no Oil Pressure. We checked the Oil Filter and there is no oil in the filter.
Pls Someone can help me with some suggestions ?

I would check to see if there is anything blocking oil passages or the pick up tube for the oil.

When a new oil pump is installed it should be packed with grease so it "primes" the pump and enables it to suck up and push oil. If it wasn't packed, then you're either going to have to either crank the engine with the fuel pump power disconnected so it doesn't fire up until it gets oil pressure (I personally wouldn't do this for very long) or disassemble the timing belt enough to put a drill on the oil pump sprocket to build pressure.

That procedure will be something you will not forget about next time.

I'm with Jim. - Sounds like no one packed your oil pump before they installed it on the block. You'll need to prime the motor, cut fuel and turn the motor over with the starter and hopefully it'll spin fast enough to build some oil pressure. This is riskey because there's no oil on any of the parts other than what you've poured in there. Hopefully you have some assembly lube to help cousion the parts as well.

other wise you'll have to pull the belts, pack the pump or prime the pump.

good luck.

Hey peeps thnx alot. I'll check with the mechanic who rebuilt the engine for me.
