I just bought a 91 talon awd that was in limp mode. I replaced the tcu and now it generally shifts well but will go back into limp mode after a while with codes 62 and 32 (as far as I can tell) however even when it is shifting it doesn't want to go into OD at all and I end up cruising at 65mph at 4k RPM. Any suggestions as to what is going on?

Here is what I have for diagnosis.

First, the car feels like it has some drag to it so perhaps I have a stuck e-brake that is making the car feel like it is too heavy to shift up again.

Second, I suspect the ecu might have some issues in that the boost gauge does nothing and code 62 is Torque Reduction Request Signal which I believe comes from the ecu.

Third code 32 is for pulse generators and I have done nothing to check these yet.

Barely related question, the tcu I took out is eprom and it does not look like the capacitor leaked but it is bad. Are these worth anything in non-working condition to someone who does electronics for these cars?

A failed end clutch speed sensor will cause it to not have 4th.
