Recently installed a Injen intake and a cone filter and now my Evo 8 BOV doesn’t make a high pitch noise anymore? It makes a loud “WHOOSH”. I used to have a stock intake box and it sounded very good with the high pitch BOV. It almost sounded like a Greddy type S. Is this normal? Or did I do something wrong? I honestly don’t like that whoosh and would prefer that high pitch BOV noise. If this is normal then I might just go back to stock box intake.

In your build thread you are missing vacuum caps on the front of the intake facing the radiator, and the back of the intake there is also a tube that goes to the valve cover breather

Also in your build thread the brake light on and the battery light on at the same time indicates that your alternator is bad

Thank you , I have the back 2 tubes connected but I couldn’t find the front facing one for the life of me. Do I just cap it off with a rubber cap?

And thank you, I guess I’ll be needed a new alternator then
