ok.. well i have taken my engine APART for the most part.... checked everything over... i lost compression when all my rocker arms came FLYING off... i know sounds like i jumped time... i didnt... when i got the car home i took a peek... everything was still in time and i took off my head looked... no problems with vavles being bent... rings are all still there... i noticed chunks of belt that i can only assume came from my balancing shaft... would this make it so i have no compression if that belt isnt there?

No.

It counter acts the vibrations of the motor, so it doesn't channel thru the car into the passenger compartment and the gear shifter. Taking them out will not make the motor "less balanced," you will just feel the vibrations a little more.

Do a BSE so you don't throw that belt again and ruin the motor. It spins twice as fast as the crank IIRC and the rear bearing tends to seize b/c the lubrication design sucks IMO.

A valve can be slightly bent and not very noticeable. Flip the head over and put a fluid in the cc and see if it leaks down into the intake or exhaust runners.

Have you taken down the timing covers to check the belt? If you are truly in time than your roller rockers would not/ can not just pop out. You must have jumped time and bent the valves Or extreamly over REVed it.
