no click no start

while driving around town, my car died... I saw the RPM needle freaking out for a split sec, wiggleing back and forth really fast at idle then the car turns off.

Just had the starter replaced, at first I thought it was a dead battery, so i took it to autoZone and got it tested and sure enough it as bad so i got it swaped with a with a new one.

when I installed the new battery I turned the key, everything powered but no click... nothing really... had to have the car towed back...

so what gives? relays? fuse? I've tried nothing and I'm all out of ideas!!

Did you by chance look at the alternator fuse?

Check you ground wire, and connection to the starter. Sounds like it has loosened up a little. Also, bad batteries eat starters for lunch, so the starter might need to be checked too.

Would a bad battery really hurt my starter? I haven't check the fuses yet, will do first chance I get.

if I wanted to replace all the fuses and relays how would I go about that? just go to autozone and ask?

So I opened the fuse box and switched around some fuses and Bang! Car started up! So I'm just going to go to autozone and buy a whole new set
