NO BOOST....turbo doesnt spool!!!!

i have a big 16g, and the other day i gave it a mild port job on the exhaust side. when i start up the car i get vaccum but no boost. is this because i did not put that cylinder thing between the manifold and the turbo?

No it's not because of that (unless your gasket is leaking.)

Check the wastegate actuator and make sure it's working correctly.

how do u check if the waste gate acuater is working properly cause i took off the exhaust manifold?? or do i have to put it back on??
