nitrous/megasquirt/portfooler question

ok so i have decided to try out the nitrous route.i need the reliability that a turbo 420a cant giv me right now. i know wut your sayen, nitrous could blow up the motor just as easily.i do not beat my car.period.im talken like maybe on the weekends i would even be spraying.but anyways... i have an 8 injector set up from hahn, but the module ended up being bad.i also hav megasquirt, would it be possible for the megasquirt to control the 8 injectors? like hav them start injecting fuel wen the nitrous is activated an WOT? just tryeing to do somthing a lil bit different then the regular "wet" nitrous kit. i searched and i couldnt find anyone asking this question.so all comments/opinions are appreciated!

Yes.

It's quite a bit easier with MS-II than MS-I. You would simply set up "staged injection":

MS2-Extra Conversion Manual

For the nitrous control, you would put a relay inline with the solenoid's power source. Then, connect the coil from the relay to a basic "programmable output" circuit within the MegaSquirt ECU. In MegaTune, configure your programmable output to be activated when RPM rises above your staged injection threshold, and throttle is at WOT.

man that is so much easier said then done.in my case anyways, i dont understand how to mess with the megasquirt like others. i still have alot of readen to do and what not. i just looked at the megasquirt i have and its ms1/extra, has a 255kPa map sensor. i guess its like the most basic megasquirt? i got it for $50 brand new still n the bag.it has never been used before.so i cant really complain.would i still be able to control the 8 injectors to activate wen the nitrous does at WOT?

Can you take a picture of the Megasquirt?

There are companies that can perform the upgrades you want for you. It's not a terribly complicated procedure, so it shouldn't cost much.

if i could i would, its a silver box from symtech labs thas bout it. and it lists wut it is for and wut it has, which i stated n the original post.but yea, hopefully all goes welll with it.ima miss the fmic and the booost

so my buddy amit came by and called me a p***y ### i had the megasquirt just chillen.so long story short, ima wire up the megasquirt tomorow.the turbo is goin bak on.i really dont kno wut i was thinken earlier...i was readen and ima use the megasquirt to take the place of the portfooler module.sticken with the turbo set-up.i wont be the person to tune the car tho.i dont have the time or knowledge to pull that one off
