Another nitrous question

Cobrasatellite: Nitro is a very powerful fuel, and turbo's are great, but this thread is about Nitrous (Oxide).

Right around the 85hp jetting is when you will start to break the ringlands on a 420A. I ran a ZEX 75 wet for awhile on my GS. I bumped up to an 80 shot (special order jetting) and gained almost 3mph in the 1/8. I was running fairly consistent 9.4s which isn't the best, but not bad for the ole 420A.

My point wasnt against nitro or for turbos. It was pretty much ### Kazoo was saying about pullys and cams. If he wants to make the car faster from the time he starts it until he gets to his destination thats not what nitro is for. Cams and pullys would give him a constant increse in performance. Not the noticable hit nitrious would. Agreed it is hands down the best bang for buck power out there. Sorry to side track the post. I just se alot of people go this rute and then relize it doesnt really work how they wanted it to. But best of luck.
