Whats up everyone? Just trying to get a small opinion poll from everyone on what my next mod should be ... Its possible I could begin my turbo build up now, the small bolt ons are only good for so long if you want some real power from these things .. also could go with some black/carbon fiber colored 18's or 19's, maybe a nitrous kit and a custom trunk enclosure ... Your opinions would be awesome ... Thanks guys

Lowering it may not always be the best idea because with that front bumper you are going to shatter if if you hit anything because of the distance it sticks out. I would say get some bigger rims to fill the gap and maybe lose the wing. For you I would say a 75 wet shot would suffice your speed needs for awhile considering none of us are racing around WOT all the time. Also love a fellow lamboer ;) haha

If it is true Bomex kit, it should withstand the abuse of lowering. Drop it an inch or 2 and get some good shocks.

Is it just me, or does that photo look like a scale model of an eclipse?
Yeah it does. And I think it's parked in dads train set. Crappy cell phones...LOL

I agree with the lowering and removal of the rear wing.

Thanks for some input ... I bought that wing off ebay and the guy said 'eclipse turbo spoiler' and when I got it I was like "WTF" it looks like the wing off of a Supra or something but its alot better than my old wing, its in a different album on that page

I am leaning on lowering it, but after new rims, the roads in my town are AWFUL, you basically have to climb a curb to get into every single parking lot, its crazy. I may move to the memphis area soon, so that wouldnt be too bad there, but I plan on some 18's-19's then maybe a 2 inch drop or some good adjustables, I've heard bad things about coilovers, even the big name brands bad too?

That would be a detailed model if he put those oil spots on the drive way!! LOL

LOL ... for the record thats my girl's house and thats from their 85 Mustang but none the less, yes it would be highly detailed then ... LOL

I dont know what all is done to your interior door panels but they make nice fiberglass ones. It looks really custom...but thats interior stuff...dont know if thats what you were really looking for.

my motor has 152xxx miles and doesnt leak at all so im pretty lucky there i figure, only problem it is having is it seems like its backfiring when i hold the pedal down and let it shift at 6500 ... someone told me i need to replace my vc gasket and sp gaskets becuase there is oil down in 1 of my plug wells...

ill take some interior photos on my days off ... i like the fiberglass or CF door panels they are pretty clean

i just installed white streetglow brand neons the otherday ... they shine really good, wanted blue but figured since the ride is white why not?

thanks for the replies guys if anyone needs to reach me heres my contacts i enjoy talking to other 2g guys. later-tray

My Oppinion:

It looks great, but paint the hood. Color match it to the body.

Also, at 152K its time for some maintance on that trusted motor. The Shop manual recommends (I'm not sure how up todate you are on maintance so this may be redundant):
1) Check Condition of Fuel hoses for any signs of brittleness or cracking, If found consider replacing
2) Clean your air filter (if K&N type) or replace if regular
3) Replace Timing Belt
3a) Replace all pulleys
3b) Replace the waterpump
4) Replace all accessory Belts
5) Change your Oil and Filter
6) Change Transmission oil
7) Change your Engine Coolant
8) Check your brake pads and rotors for wear (if found replace)
9) Inspect your brake lines for cracking or brittleness (if found replace).
10) Check Ball joins and steering linkage seals
11) Perform a compression test on the engine
12) Perform a boost leak test (fix any leaks)
---------------------------------------------------------------
Edit: Ignore 12, I read you were N/T.. oops.

thanks for the list of repair to do, i just replaced the rear ball joints and knuckle bushings, time to start on the rest of it ....

as far as painting the brakes ... i have drums in the back, do they make a conversion? im not too familiar with brakes for our cars
