Hey, first port. I was looking around here and never seen so much Holset info in one place. Hopefully i can learn some good turbo tech here...

I dont have a DSM at the moment. Im really and Rx7/Rotary guy. But, im looking to pick up and Starion real soon. So i'll be searching some good info on those here too...

thought i would post a few questions here... its not letting me search.

I have an 8 blade compressor HX40 with a 19cm^2 hot side...

Its in need of a rebuild and i will be performing this myself. From what i can tell so far, it needs a new compressor (cold side). plus the rebuild kit obviously. Where can i pick up these parts? any good links?

also, i have seen some Billet upgraded blades. how can i figure out if those will fit in my version of HX40 since theres so many?

anyone have a good write up of rebuilding an HX40. I have rebuild Garrett turbos. but never a Holset. Any real difference?

Send a pm to member jusmx141. He is a wiseman and rebuilds these turbos all the time. Good choice on turbos. Thats what Im going to run here very soon with a smaller .55 A/R mitsubishi bolt on housing. That turbo is good for 60lb/min and 20+psi by 4000-4500rpms.

Ohh and Rotarys are fun.....Once you pull the motor and drop an LS1. LOL

i have seen you plenty in the rotary world.
