I'm going from a big 16g turbo to a PTE SCM61/CompTurbo 50 trim hybrid. I'm also going to remove the head, headstud, port and polish the head new gaskets and valve stem seals, 1g t body, port match intake, and port match the gasket with head and intake manifold and bc valve springs and retainers. Also gonna put the Polly mounts in while down. I'm going with a stock replacement on the head gasket, figure around 25 psi will be all I'm gonna be able to run on the stock bottom end. What do you guys think? The car is not a dd weekend and some 1/4 mile. Would like to get in the 11s.

The stock gasket is more than sufficient. Planning on doing any exhaust porting? I keep reading a lot of posts where no one mentions it.

Stock head gasket with studs will be fine. How much does the PTE SCM61/CompTurbo 50 trim flow?

Ive heard mixed things about the bc springs and valves. Im interested to hear how they run for you..

Also, how did the b16g run?
