Went down to Woodburn Drag strip to break in the new motor. We were not trying to do anything nutty so this came to us as a surprise. Both time slips are side by side so check them out. Yes 2 count them 2 1.25 60ft. Whats awesome is we were not leaning on the car at all, NO n2o during the passes or launch, 42 psi spiking 44 on the 2-3 shift, timing is about 12*. I was really shocked the track officials didn't call me to the tower, this is a very strict track and they will ban you for breaking certs. Enjoy the new vid

Jeff 1g Eagle Talon runs 2 8.4@160+ only nitrous to spool 1.25 60ft. Fastest no nitrous to date - YouTube

Looking good! What suspension is on this car? launches looked much smoother in this video than the others.

That is absolutely phenomenal!:hellyeah: The car is a blast to watch run, so I know it must be awesome in the seat. Congrats and I can't wait to hear more in the future. Nice work!:thumb:

Same suspension thats been it for 5 years now, Custom tailored K sport coil overs. The tire pressure was at 18lbs all the way around ROFL. The bounce from the earlier vids was because we were over powering the track, turned it down from 5700.

The launch was set at around 5200-5300. This converter can stall to about 6500 if I want.

Awesome runs Jeff, you're just 0.015 of the auto 60' record now! For what its worth, this is almost exactly where my car was for the same boost and timing last season. I was 8.3's and 165-166mph on 43psi and 11-13deg timing (ramping) with mid-low 11:1 AFR's. I want to see what it does when you lean on it in some good weather!

Also keep in mind when you're asking stall and spoolup that Jeff's car is with nitrous for spoolup.

Car is crazy fast Jeff. All ways impressed with how this car runs. Straight as an arrow too :)

So smooth and effortless you wouldn't even think the car was running 12's if it weren't for the sound and the time showing at the end. BUt I was always told and came to realize in other forms of racing too that your fastest time often feel the slowest to you because everything has gone smoothly without incident to get your nerves going

blah, but anyway, great times man, seems the DSM's are geting to have a lot of guys in the single digits this year, time to aim for 7's!!!!!!
