So what exactly have YOU done on real cars? Let's see some type of acomplishment.
How many different variations of manifolds have you tried in coming up with what you believe to be the best design? Did you even test different runner lengths/diameters on the dyno or do you just put something together that fits in the engine bay and looks acceptable.
Aside from an amazing front bumper install what real work have you even done on a DSM?
What ASE certifications do you have?
Have you taken any courses on metaluragy or welding?
Do you have any mechanical engineering background?
I have no problem with you making some carbon fiber parts to make some money, good for you. Leave the power parts production until after you've actually done something and have real world experience though. See the other people out here with real shops, real overhead, and actual employees have mouths to feed. Some kid that has no real experience selling half rate parts at half rate prices cuts into the bottom line. When those vendors that would be doing actual testing on their products move away from the DSM market it hurts EVERYONE. That means no new product development for those of us that are serious about our cars.
Oh and before you flame me on what I can do, easiest example for you. See that car in my sig? I built that from a bare unibody shell in around 7 months. It started first try. It's first day running I drove to another state, did multiple 130mph pulls, for a total of 600 miles, NOTHING failed. I've driven it daily since April, drag raced many times, and put on 6hrs of time at open track days. The pin in my 5th gear shift fork came out and my fuel pump relay burnt out in that time.
I've got DSMs down, don't question my knowledge of them.
