Wow he has ALREADY changed his identity. This isnt looking good folks.

it was a 2001 cavalier z24 with these mods on it, 310cc fuel injectors, intercooler, turbo (at 13psi creeped to 15psi), dual exhaust, hks blow off valve, stainless steel turbo manifold, lower engine mount.

Would you care to tell me how those mods get a cavalier to run 12s? How does dual exhaust help a 4 cylinder motor? You also didnt bother to mention what kind of turbo it was, whether it was on slicks or not, and I doubt it ran 12s on the stock clutch. Stock fuel pump? Fuel controller/ECU? I can go on and on.

So far your stories are full of holes, just like your empty webpage. Is that a JG Edelbrock intake manifold for a honda on there?

All in all you seem like a young kid with a computer that wants to make money. Judging from your description of the cavalier and your own profile with your mods for your car, I seriously don't think you have the capacity to make a car fast. I was trying not to make this personal but I can't. Its just that blatant to me. I will continue to shop at reputable DSM shops. I like my money.

wow thanks for all the support... lemme go into details for you punks...

the dual exhaust is for looks.. its only a 2.5" exhaust from the turbo back, its a garrett t3/t4e turbocharger .57 a/r .63 trim external wastegate, i used a tial 38mm wastegate with an external dump. boost is controlled with a HKS electronic controller and monitered with a autometer boost gauge and egt gauge, it was on stock tires, stock clutch. im not sure about the fuel pump.. sorry cant help you there... the owner did some of the work himself. it ran a 12.8 to be exact. sorry that i havent completed my website yet.... i just started it last night... but if you want check out my current site... www.exploitedracing.com there is a pic of the setup that ran the 12.8 in the 2.4L turbo kits page for cavaliers. any more questions?

if u view me as some loser kit who can make a website... this being my first year in business has already brought in a net amount of about $70,000.00

Look, I'm not going to argue with you on here. I can tell from how you post what kind of business you run. If other people want to give you money, well its their money to do what they want with. I have seen so many DSM fly-by-night companies come and go, and you seem no different to me.

In IM's he told me he was 17. Thats enough info for me.

EDIT: Wow your list of mods on that cavalier just got a hell of a lot longer.

Yes, Jealous is exactly what I am right now. Shouldnt you act a bit more mature if you want to run a successful business? I am done now. Thank you.

1)what year/gen of J-body are we referring to? I will assume 3rd gen (95-02) yes the 3rd generation style

2)how were you able to get a J-body in the 12's (supercharger,NOS, Turbo,NA). I'm not saying it can't be done... but i'm willing to bet there are more DSM's in the 10's than J-bodys in the 12's (manufacturers and huge corporate sponsers, once again excluded) here is what we did to the car....

it was a 2001 cavalier z24 with these mods on it, 310cc fuel injectors, intercooler, turbo (at 13psi creeped to 15psi), dual exhaust, hks blow off valve, stainless steel turbo manifold, lower engine mount.

3)Are you at all associated with "VIZZION POWER SYSTEMS??" (if you are...everybody, run.... run far far away ) no but i know who vizzion is.. a friend of mine got a manifold from him... it took forever for him to get and he regrets it.... he also got the owner of vizzions intercooler because he couldnt afford to keep it! hahahahahaha

ill think about the headlight convertion kit... when i first bought my 91 eclipse thats what i wanted to do.,. but that was also before i started my company. no i am not a company just starting out.. i opened up in december 2002 and have been doing very good ever since. sorry for my miss spelling of lathe... dont ask why but i ALWAYS spell it like laythe... i guess im retarded. also.... i have changed my company name from exploited racing to street and rally performance because of the meaning of exploited. the new website i am making is...

www.5r-p.com

any other questions or suggestions feel free to post.

Well, Brian. I heard about that J-body that ran 12's, wasn't it 12.88 to be exact. I wasn't aware that it was an "exploited racing" project. I thought it was just some guy who bought a manifold from you. Oh, by the way... didn't he have to get that manifold rewelded by a different person? maybe someone who has had some experience welding, at least more than a 17 yr. old could have. I'm sorry, let me change my tone... i would love to drop some serious coin on some CF bits for my car or some fancy headlights from a 17 year old kid who wastes his time arguing with people on the internet:rolleyes: , not only on DSM websites but also JBO (J-body.org). The simple fact that you even waste your time with JBO makes me smile. Hey, let us know when you get those headlights done... i want some for my GVR4:thumb:

Later,
dsmparts.com sell pipes with the gm maf flange already on them.

its not a waste of my time... im making a nice living off of it.

yes it was a 12.8 to be exact... me and the owner both installed the kit at his dads house using all parts from me that i use in my turbo kits. the person who supposedly got it rewelded was a retard so completely ignore that, he never even ran the car with it how it was.... other than that my turbo manifolds have held up just fine, i have performance shops all over the US and canada buying them for customers that have looked them over and even a few welding shops (yes REAL welding shop where the workers weld all day) and even they said the welds looked very nice. i did have a few steel manifolds crack when i first started because they were mig welded but now i own a TIG welder and use only stainless steel.

ok, i can tell that you are really serious about this. i guess i should wait to see for myself before i take secondhand info without an explanation from affected parties. anyways, i have a suggestion. stop wasting your time with this thread, go make some good products with real world results then post your new business/products in the vendor announcements forum.

My advice:

Guys - give the guy a little slack. He asked for ideas for products - if he wants to try the market waters, let him.

eXploited - If you want to get sales and consumer confidence, make some products, post pictures of your work/welds, etc, and post dyno graphs from an independent dyno shop for performance parts.

Good luck.

P.S. - If you take people's money down with your business, you'll have a bunch of angry DSMers to deal with.

I beat all you guys, I have actually been to his "business" It is run out of his parents house/back yard/garage. HEHE When I went I got their I was amazed at all the pretty much junk cars that were laying around, a talon or eclipse with no front end that he was trying to do body work on, you should have seen the quality.LOL(terrible) Also their were misc parts laying everywhere sure didn't look like a business to me. He this business brought in some much money why do all his cars have more than one other color to them. And don't worrry guys he painted the front bumper....with spray paint so you know how good that looks. And the the black talon, the one with the huge front bumper that is white in all his pictures didn't run when I went to look at it and he was trying to get 3900 or 2900 for it that is the one with the spray painted front bumper. It also had a huge dent in the drivers fender and the tranny was pretty much goen form what he told me and like I said it didn't run. He told the timing belt was very loose and jsut needing to probably be tightned. Right dude then why didn't you just tighten it right up and have it be driveable?

We all have to start some where. Even Dave Buschur started his business in his house like so many others. What seperates the long term vendors from the over nighters is commitment to doing it right. Don't go for cheap go for performance. Its hard to knock something that performs.

Also, don't exagerate on your abilities. This is a quick way to get in over your head and have your business implode. If you can't do something sub it out to someone that can and then learn how. Honesty to your customers should be a top priority.

Lastly, try to do things as professionally as possible. Don't take this personal but some of the images on your web page are not very good. If I took a picture of a product to post on my website and you could see me in bunny slippers in part of the picture, you probably wouldn't take me very seriously. Hire a professional photographer, a picture can say a lot about the percieved quality of the product.

Anyway, good luck.

Oh, BTW, I've been at this for more than a few years and I didn't make close to 70k my first year out (or even my second or third).

well szewczyd im glad u remember so much to bad u forgot the main parts of me not doing the body work. tsk tsk. whats wrong with workin out of ur garage??? Gotta start somewhere... lots of companys start this way.... to bad you wouldnt know seeing you work at a retirement home painting walls. and jus so u know... it was a broken cam shaft in the black car... the blue one i stripped down and took to dump and kept the good engine to put in the black car.

wait til u guys see the header im building right now outta all stainless. i got another local dsmer whos interested in one too. ill post pics when im done... as for the kit for sale on the main page.... its a customers of mine sellin the kit because he sold the car, so its not fault its a bad pic... its the only one there was.
