Damn you lucky bastard. I want those black leather seats but I decided I'm just going to save up for some Brides! LOL

As for the carpet whey don't you buy some factory molded black carpet? It is easy to install I did it.

hey man hate to tell ya but bride went out of business... LOL someone bought them out and they dont make seats or anything no more.. SORRY... MOMO is the way to go... :thumb:

Looks good mine should look just like that after tomorrow i went to the junkyard today and they just got in a 99 GS with all black leather interior they are selling me for 30.00 front /back they are in good condition just drivers side seat has a little hole on the left side. ill show pics of mine when i get it tomorrow.

hey thanks for all the comments guys... your right though, it looks surprisingly well. i didnt know what to expect with the two tone tan and black. i didn't know mitsu had put in black carpet as one of their options on the 2g's. his car was completely black but the interior under the dash and the carpet/floor mats it was grey :notgood: ill keep an eye out for the black carpet/floor mats because i wouldn't freak out everytime i spilt something since it wouldn't stain...

whats up SD99GST! maybe one of these days we'll catch up at the meets?

:dsm:

I don't think there was Balck carpet available from the factory for the 2g. However JC Whitney sells black carpet if you really wanted it.

I recovered my grey leather seats with black, but my carpet was grey, so I just got some nice universal black floor mats. They looked great, and really finished off the job!

damn dude... that looks GREAT too! haha. i wonder why mitsu didn't do that from the factory? i think you got a better snag then i did since you had to find a junkyard that had a car with that interior! im pretty sure DSM'rs would kill to get their hands on seats like ours, nice grab yourself son son. :thumb::thumb::thumb: anyone that has the cloth interior i suggest finding some leather seats (black, tan, grey) because it makes your car feel like its worth $10,000 instead of the $6,000 that you actually paid for it.

:dsm:

Sigh...

All I can say is those seats went through a can of meguires leather wipes every 2 weeks.

Car looks great Corey! let me know when you wanna do the EVO3 intake manifold.

Yea honestly get a molded black carpet from ebay. I shit you not they are molded very well I have one. You have to let the carpet sit out in the sun all day to let it sit properly since it was all scrunched up during shipping. Also a heat gun can be used to get it to sit in all the grooves of the car. Basically takes a very little bit of trimming and you are good to go. I can get you a picture if you need. It does not get dirty like my tan used to, but be warned you will need to vaccuum it at least 3 times a week as you notice any and all dirt.

As for the one trying to rain on my parade BRIDE seats can still be bought. Many retailers have a lot in stock. Look around because if I had some money I'd have a set right about now.

Yeah, for sure... have you been keeping up with the SD Meet thread, sounds like a little cruise is stirring up. By the way I noticed that you have fully powered seat, I want that on my car.
