Here is mine, I just need to re-upholster the seats, sunvisors, and figure out what to do about the sunroof surround. I'm not sure how to change that piece. Did the make one that was black rather than light grey?

Not that I'm aware of, but I can tell you that they take paint fairly well so long as you clean it up and scuff it a bit with a scotchbrite pad or some sandpaper.

Heres mine. Tried to hide stuff as much as possible. The only problem is that after all the work to get the SAFC where it is, I had to take it out becuase I got DSMlink. oh and yes I realize theres one HVAC knob missing.

have you thought of dying it? or possibly using SEMs vinyl paint? otherwise, i agree, scuff it up good and try that. i had luck with painting a first gen surround a different color.

What kind of dye would I use and where would I get it?

Has anyone had luck dying their stock leather seats? What did you use and where did you get it?

i think duplicolor makes the dyes for leather, vinyl, and carpet, check autozone for it, or check the duplicolor website to make sure they make it

Thanks!

My only reservation with dying the seats is that I would think it could wear off or just not look right from the beginning.

I think I'll try dying the sunroof surround and maybe the visors but I'm not sure about the seats. I'd like to see some seats that were done and used for a while with no signs of the dye wearing off. I think I might just end up having them re-upholstered. I'd kinda like to have the centers done in suede to match the arm rest, door inserts, and airbag cover anyway.

I dyed my rear seats. Stock grey, now black. The red is leaving in favor of a silver/charcoal color.

I used dupli-color vinyl spray. no chipping, still flexes and everything. PM me for more info.
