new high output jay racing pump

I have been fighting a lean problem at wot I blamed it on a failing pump so i purchased the new one from jay racing.After install i took my car for a drive expecting the problem to be solved but now its even worse.Has anyone installed one of these my concern is the factory seal to the pump where the swolen part is on the hanger is not sealing properly.should i cut this and use a hose and clamps in place of that instead?Any other suggestions would be helpful.thanks

That what we did on my buddies 4th gen camaro, I don't see this being very different. Remember 30psi of boost over 43 psi base pressure is 73 psi, thats a lot of pressure for a rubber hose and clamps, make sure its connected good. ei, barbed, lipped, ect.

Can you not find a better seal for the pump> hanger joint?

No kinked lines, crushed lines, or clogged fuel filter? A clogged fuel filter causes this often.

Which pump did you get and what fuel are you using? Post a log, too.

Cut off the flared 'hood' thing that the O-ring fits into and use a short piece of high pressure fuel injection hose and a couple of hose clamps.

cut the bell off the stock hanger and installed the rubber hose fixed the problem.
