Hi I blew a head gasket a few months ago and decided to replace it. I found a hole in the old cylinder head so I put a new head on. Well after doing that I got it running and drove it for a day. Came out the next morning and it was firing on two. I put a new transistor pack and it still soun like crap but it does something weird now. It will start and run for three seconds. Then die any help would be nice. Oh the cel comes on very fast

The first things i would check is fuel, spark, and compression. crank it over then take the spark plugs out see if there is fuel on them. if so good. next make sure you have a good spark to all four plugs. if so good. next do a compression test. compression needs to be 120-160 lowest 110 probable. check that and let us know. hope this helps

I Read another post about this and a bunch of people say to check the cam sensor. I took off the cam gear and saw the sensor was cracked on the base and fairly wobbly. I got the new sensor and I'm waiting to get home to put it in ill update if it starts.

Would the cam sensor cause 2 and 3 to not spark?

NM, I figured it out. Would help if the plate on the back of the cam gear was on. Dumb dumb dumb. Oops
