New GSX

I found a guy who lives in my town who is selling a NEW '99 GSX. That's right, zero miles. He's selling for 11k and I was wondering what you guys think. I do know that even if the odo reads zero that it doesnt mean the car wasnt abused.

Im pretty sure the car's odo hasnt been tampered with. I looked really close at the car and the engine bay is perfectly clean, tires have 100% tread, belts look new, and a few other things. I was wondering if there is a way to tell if the car has never been moved.

She sure is a beauty tho.

Would the motor and tranny even be in good shape if it hasn't been run (i.e. pumping oil) since it was assembled?

Yea, sucks alot that a GSX has to be tainted like that. I think I might still buy it pending on a test drive and further inspection.

Ive been to many dealers and looked at many, many new cars and not once have i seen a car with under 5 miles let alone 0...its gotta be froud

Any word on this car yet? Does the guy have it up on a website like Auto Trader? It would be funny to see this guy get busted for trying to sell the car that has obviously been rolled back.

I'd say buy the car then blackmail his ass for tampering with the odometer, it's a federal crime that you cannot tamper with the odometer you can get a big ass fine! BLACKMAIL!

Also if it sat 7 years, the oil, all fluids, belts, tires, gaskets. would all be going bad. let alone the gas.

So if it started you would have to think. 7 year old gas will not work.
