new exhaust needhelp

i have a 98 gst and i am having a problem with the last part with the mufller on it we can only get it to go so far any sugestions are help

I believe you would have more "assistance" if you were to describe the problem in greater detail. What exhaust? What specifically is the problem?

sorry so hears the deal i bought this exhaust alright its an apexi ws and we are having trouble putting the muffler part of the exhaust on everything else bolts up fine except the muffler part it seems like it will bolt up if you look at it when its laying on the ground but it doesn't it seems like it needs more room above the subframe for the piping to go through

I just installed my turbo back and i had the same problem... Mine was a 3'' Though that went up and over the rear subframe , There are 2 bolts holding up the rear subframe on the left side , if you take those to bolts off while the car is jacked up then use something to pry the subframe down just a little bit i got mine to fit fine. Its a little bit of time , I suggest possibly heating the bolts though before you try to take them out So you dont break them.

Most GST 3"exhausts go under the subframe, not over like the stock one.

Yes i know this , mine went up and over , there was a slight pinch in the exhaust but i really didn't mind because my goal is not over 400whp. For the price i payed , + its all SS and mandral bent So i can't complain that it pinches down to around 2.75 over the subframe...
