Well I just picked up a sweet lil 1g dsm talon, so far I really like the car and its really fast too! My last car was 20g SR20DET Silvia which was plenty quick! I also know fast as I have 9sec small block AMC hornet. Anyways I had the car dyno'd and I was impressed, but once I got on here found I should be making far more power then I am! So I thought I'd ask the pros what they think I should do, and if anyone knows a good tuner in the MT/WA/ID/UT area?

Also I wanna get a nice TIG tubular manifold, who makes the best one for a HX35 with BEP housing.

Mod list
4g63 Rebuilt 2000miles 160psi comp all 4
BC 272 cams
Mitsubishi HG
ARP studs
ARP in the bottom end as well
New Rods
Wisco pistons 8.5:1
FIC 950cc
Hafe cast mani
HX35 BEP housing not sure what A/R
3" FMIC
Ultra gate 38mm screamer pipe
LS1 MAF with MAFT
EPROM ECU (burned chip?)
CF DFX clutch
Dijon intake
Dual HKS SSQV BOV's
8mm spark plug wires
PLX wide band
Solid poly bushings
AGX coil overs
Walbro 255
And a few other odds and ends I'm missing

When I had the car dyno'd at CarbConn in Kirkland, WA and it made 360hp/295tq at 24psi.

Previous owner said its tunes to run 30psi but I was Leary to do that on 91oct! Thanks for any input from anyone that can help me out! And def excited to be part of the DSM circle!

Thanks,

HOOCH

Why do u want a tubular manifold? If it has the bep housing for stock fitment check out forced performance manifolds. It's very sweet. And they're having a sale on them right now.

I would start with a better way to tune. Try dsmlink or a standalone such as an Aem ems. Possibly bigger injectors and e85 so you can really wind out the hx35. Sounds like you have a good platform and welcome to the family!

E85 is a no go as we don't have it in the sticks where I live :(

As far as a tubular mani I just like the looks of them and I know cast log style probly perform better but I really like the eye candy and I figure if I do lose a lil I've got room to improve with a nice intake mani and a better tune

What is the turbo bolted up to currently? If it's bolted to the stock manifold, it likely has the .55 BEP housing. If so, you have virtually no options for high quality tubular manifolds. A good choice would be the Forced Performance cast manifold. It's not flashy, but it's still a nice piece. It will last you 10x longer than some eBay junk and will keep engine bay temps down.

If it's T3 flanged, you have endless options. You could pay $400 or $2,000. But again, this is only if your turbine housing is the T3 .70 BEP housing. If you were to post a pic of the engine bay, someone would be able to tell you right away.
