New Dsm owner (maybe)

Hello s2000 owner here

Anyway my s2000 is about to go for body work and engine rebuild and I found a 1990 eclipse with a 4g63t some mods but need wire harness so I was wondering how much a wiring harness runs and how hard they are to find or if anyone has made their own how difficult it was

Nice S2k. I just seen selling there un-hacked wiring hardness for a Galant VR-4 (closest thing to a 1g) for $300. Would it fit, IDK, is it pricey, IMO i think so. I do know you will never find one in any junk yard in Hampton Roads. Pick and Pull had a 1g 1.8L eclipse but it's gone now.

If your trying to find a s2k I know one for I think 8-9k thy just needs paint has alot if upgrades and I would love to get it if I didn't still owe on mine

Very nice s2k. My favorite color. My buddy has a turbo 2sk pushin like 405hp. Its crazy.

I can teach you a little of what I know about DSM's, but I'm new to this world also (but I can teach you all day about Nissan's VQ35 platform. ha ha)

I love Nissan engine but then Honda had to go and make a convertible that revs to 9k and I was take. Away from my beloved rb25 ,26 and sr20 never messed with a vq they are to new school Nissan for me

Orange2k. IIRC You can view the classifieds as a new member just not post in them. Look at the top. Look at the Marketplace Button. The classifieds are hidden in that drop down menu. It confused me the first time I joined here too.

I've decided to pick up the car as long as i don't miss it before I get the $ I should be getting my
Tax return working next week or 2 and I will go get it then (I have not even looked at it) but I figure for the live if I can't fix it I can part it out and get my $ back

Lol d's the 11k s2000 with the wide body Kurt custom paint Oz wheels pushing 450 hp or the Dsm I payed 1500 for and rebuilt the wire harness ???

I'm buying the eclipse so I can build the s and keep it out of the snow

If the s had that much done already then it make sense. but keeping that dsm DD is going to require maintenance(Old cars). But if you got all taking care off and runs right, it can be a good DD. fo sho.

The s curently has some body damage so I'm going to fix the eclipse and drive it while I fix the s and then I'm going to drive the s while I rebuild the eclipse then I will drive the eclipse in the winter and the s in the summer and track the eclipse

In thare somewhere I will be selling the eclipse for a Evo ( whenever I have kids)
