Hey guys,

This new noise started up about a week ago when I got done changing a front inner CV boot where I took the whole axle out of the car. Repairs went all good but when I was out driving the next day, I noticed a somewhat high pitched squeaking noise. It is really hard to describe, it sounds as if something is rubbing on the axle making this noise but I have already checked to make sure nothing is. It sounds as if its rubber on something else making a squeaking noise. Or better description, it sounds almost exactly like when breaks are almost ready to be changed. That type of squeak but changes as the speed does.

It isn't the brakes as well, unless a pad is barely touching a rotor. The sound happens when I'm on the brakes or off them. When im either decel or accel or just keeping the same speed. And it goes away or doesn't show up under ~10mph

The noise definitely is drivetrain related because the sound and speed of the sound increase as the cars speed increases.

I honestly have no idea what it could be, I've read it could be wheel bearings, carrier barrings, etc. But I've checked most items that could be a problem and they all seem fine.

I have a feeling it is my t-case because it has been on it's way out for a while. It's starting to leak more and spitting more fresh oil out of the yoke. I'm planning to replace this hopefully this weekend depending if this deal goes through.

Can there be anything else obvious that can be making this problem?
