New clutch

So me and my buddy put a new clutch in my car this weekend, we got everything back together but now it wont go in gear.. anyone know what could be wrong. We also changed the tranny fluid. when we changed the clutch i also put in an oem throw out bearing of course why wouldnt you. my buddie think we might have put to much grease on the clutch. can some please help me out thanks!!

1) Somebody didn't adjust the clutch pedal assembly
2) If it is your throwout bearing that you put grease on, the excess will burn off
3) You didn't use a clutch alignment tool
4) Your buddy doesn't know what the hell he is doing.

Did you adjust your clutch pedal. you have to with a new clutch, especially if you had your flywheel resurfaced.

Did you put on a new fork and pivot ball? That was the problem on the last two cars I worked on... And did you guys shim the pivot if you did change those out?

yeah we definately did grease the clutch plate but it say to lightly grease it but the repair manual told us to and we didnt think it sounded right but we did now we r wondering how to fix our newbie mistake do we have to take the clutch back out or can we burn the grease off little by little i mean i know its bad for it but didnt buy the clutch and if it has to come out again thinking about putting a stage two or three in.
