2G New Clutch/Flywheel - Cant get into gear

Hey guys. I am still having issues with this. I installed the symbroski shifter plate bushings, but it was still grinding some. Its strange because sometimes it goes right into gear and sometimes it only wants to go half way in and pop out. Its usually 1st gear, but it will occasionally do it in any gear. I have adjusted the cables per the VFAQ as well as tried making small adjustments to improve the shifting, but have had no luck there. I made two slave rods just to try and see if it was a travel issue. I made one that was about 1/8" longer and one that was just over 1/4" longer. I tried them both. It was slightly better that way, but right now I still have the longest one installed and it is still gringing gears.

Another thing that might be relavent to someone who knows a lot about these problems is when the car is running and parked. If I push the clutch in and put it in gear and then put it back in neutral, when I let the clutch out I feel a clunk that to me feels like slack in the drivtrain. I really dont know how to describe it but it makes me think that even in neutral the trans is still partially engaged. Or maybe when its in gear with the clutch in the clutch is still draggging and when I put it back in neutral and let the clutch out it is taking the load back off of the drivtrain? I know that sounds very confusing, but I don't know how else to explain it.

I do not think the fingers on the pp are being overextended, but how can I tell?
With the car off I don't really have any problem going through the gears.

I crawled back under the dash because I felt like I had not looked at the master cylinder close enough. I did find some fluid around the boot and on the firewall. Im going to price an OEM unit and see if that does anything for me.

I replaced the master cylinder today. When I took it out it had definitely been leaking and the rod was bent slightly. I got the new one installed and bled. The engagement point is much better, I would say about 3 inches off the floor. I am now pretty certain that the disc is fully disengaging.

The problem is it still doesn't shift smoothly all the time. I might go through the gears once and its super smooth. Then come to a stop and it doesnt want to go into first and tries to grind third. Stop again and its fine. I dont see what could be moving... I have prothane mounts all the way around, symbroski shifter plate bushings, and there is no play in the cables bracket. What else could cause this? When its running in neutral, I can try to shift into first whithout clutching and it does not grind. I read somewhere that is how you tell if your synchros are good? I have done that with each gear.

Any help troubleshooting would really be appreciated as I am having to DD this thing and not being able to get into 1st gear at every stoplight really sucks.

Did u get a resolve for this? I was looking info up on this clutch and still am but its funny im having the same issue but i have not looked into it yet. After all your work and i may get yelled at for guessing like i said i am currently looking up this clutch
Maybe it needs to simply be broke in. Take her easy and break her in. If thats not it maybe this clutch isnt good with a stock flywheel? If you have one that is. Lmk im interested in this problem.

Well im pretty sure i discoverd my problem. I have crank walk. Maybe yours has started the same.
