New CF Front Lip

I think it looks good but the price is basically a ripoff..I think $289.99 plus $80 s&h is straight raping somebody..I'm personally not a fan of CF lips cause they'll break if you barely hit something and trust me I know this from first hand experience because I hit my urethane lip all the time and it just flexes (not to say that I cant drive but when you have a dropped car the usual curbs,pavement,driveways and parking lot stops get in your way)..Just my .02 cents.

I agree, it's definitely a ripoff. Also, if they would have made that in ABS or Eurathane, I'd be all over it. But alas, it's only in CF.

I just got the RM lip and I am so glad that its not carbon fiber. That cf lip would look like ass after a week of little scrapes here and there, and you cannot repair it like you can plastic.

personally i think it looks real good. I have a rs abs frount lip an i cracked it within a mounth. as far as looks I would be all over it . as far as functionallity an price

It's exactly like my lip, except CF instead of urethane, and twice the price. I don't know why anyone would chose anything other than urethane for a front clip, given all the choices. IMO, if its a daily driver, and its something in the front, urethane is the way to go. I too hit my lip everywhere, even when I'm careful...had it been CF or fiberglass, it wouldve cracked the next day I had it on.

I should probably put this in the for sale section but since we are already on the topic. I have a CF RSDM lip for sale, $200 bucks even. You can pick up or ill ship it either way.

back on topic though, I like the way that lip looks, but i have to agree that CF and fiberglass are way to easy to crack. Urethane is the way to go.
