New front lip maybe?

Ok I was just messin around on ebay and saw this (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=36475&item=7937278884&rd=1) I havent ever seen it before and thought it looks alot better than the rdm lips because it used the stock front and doenst add to the bottom as much it looks like its built into the front bumper.

I agree...that does look pretty sweet. How does it hook up though? It kinda looks like its molded to the bumper, but it could be cause the pic is blurry. I've never seen one like that before, something to consider!

It might be glued or even bolted to the bottom of the bumper. It's made of urethan so it shouldnt break too easy. I'm emailing them to see what is the deal and also how many they have in stock. I'm diein to get a new look and my stock bumper is scraped up a bit on the front just the ticket to cover it up . I'll try and get more pictures from them.

Yea, keep us posted. I've got some scratches on my bumper too from having it towed. Good idea for covering it up, I might have to do that.

If I get this for my car should I paint it the color of my car or some kind of black? I'm thinkin the color of my car and possiibly even molding it to the bumper with urethane epoxy and urethane mold so it is all one piece. I'm still waitin to hear from the company it'll pry be friday cuz of the holidays

That would be sweet to mold it to your bumper, but be careful with that. My friend's integra had some kind of 'type r' lip on the front of it, and bottomed out with it once. It put a small hairline crack in it. About an hour later, on his way home from HIN, he was racing some VW and when he was doin about 135 the entire bottom half of his front bumper went flying under his car, taking off the back body kit as well. It then went flying into my other friend's civic's front body kit. Destroyed 2 fiberglass kits in 1 day! I doubt that would happen to you cause its all urethane, but if you just mold it, the lip might come off if its bumped at all.

As for the color, I think it would look awesome to paint match it, but from what I've heard from people that have the RDM lip...they sell it black for a reason. Theirs got all scratched up over time and the black covered it up.

I ordered a lip from them for my 02 WRX and the fitment was great. I know its not the same lip, but my experiences with them have been excellent. Good price, good fitment, FAST shipping.

I think the lip just goes "into" the vents and covers the bottom of them. I know I've seen some STI lips like that.

That would be my guess, i have seen lips like that before. I suprised it has taken so long to make a lip like this for our cars. For hondas you can get them for any make and model in a variety of styles. The rm lip looks pretty good but not great and those flat lips that are just plastic everyone is making now look worse than stock.

Ok, i decided to run the risk and i got my front lip today!!
so i put it over to see how it looked, and i loved it! im gonna leave it black, cuz its easier to touch up, and it looks sick with my blue/black theme!!
going to place it maybe tomorrow, ill post pics when i do
