1G New Cams and Lifters, will they work?

Ok so to start i bought bc 272s off a memeber here with adjustable cam gears, my question is, what would have to be upgraded in the head to run them? or are they just drop in and go? What RPM range should i set?
I also bought these LIFTERS, was told they will be an improvement. Trying to make a cheap build that will be fun on the weekends.

Evo 3 16g at 28lbs making 300awhp and 350ft-lbs
Big FMIC
880cc Injectors
AEM FPR
255 Walbro
Speed Density ECMLink v3
Mishimoto rad and fans
4bolt rear

So far it runs 13s flat at 105, i would like to get into the 11s on the stock block and internals, next upgrade is a Garret 67mm ready to go in... Please advise me all wise DSM Guru's

I would reccommend upgraded valve springs and retainers as well. I have the same cam shafts minus the gears and used titanium valve springs and retainers as well as new lifters.

I understand the recommendation, but can i leave them stock with no problems, as springs and retainers are not really in my budget as i see them all going for over $200, and do not have the funds to remove the head to add these new springs and retainers.

Not sure if they're required. It was years ago when I did mine, but I remember reading somewhere that with 272 cam shafts its strongly reccommend to have stronger springs and retainers. 264 you can get away without but from what I remember it was very well encouraged, don't remember if it said required or not. Sorry.

I would just wait a little longer and save up a bit more money and do it. It would be a bigger waste of money to install the cam shafts without the springs and retainers and then for something damaging to happen...

Back when my motor was stock I dropped in some BC 272s and ran them to 8000 rpm for years with no problems. This was also on stock cam gears, springs, and lifters.

I ran BC272 with stock springs up to 8000 and had no issues.
