a guy is selling a 95 talon tsi and he says he put a motor from a 97 in it but the cas sensor wont work with 97 cams. i was wondering how true this is. thank you

Scrymerr said:The 95 cas will work with 97 cams, it is just the cam gears from a 97 that wont work on the 95 without extra work.

blcknspo0ln said:curious.. what type of extra work are you talking about? I currently have a 96 head with 97 cams,gears, and CAS.. from the side, my cam gears look off center when in rotation.. is that what you're talking about? how they don't seat right?
