i have new pads and rotors so there not shot, but when i slow down quickly my car sways from left to right even though the wheel is completly straight.

tie rod /end?
can anyone help out?

wow LOL. i have to new tie rod ends too. you mean as if i were trying to turn the wheel with my hands right? like grab it and see if they wiggle around ?

Yeah, wiggle back and forth by grabing the sides of the tire while it's off the ground. Also while it's up in the air grab the top and bottom of the tire and try to wiggle it back and forth too. This will check your ball joints since that could be a problem as well. Push and pull good and hard on the top and bottom to check the ball joints cause it won't wiggle as easy as the side to side for the tie rod ends.

alright thanks ill do that today.

ive done tie rods before but how hard are ball joints to replace?

My front end does that when I come to a stop. When I jacked up my car I moved the wheel back and forth a little bit. It's my wheel bearing. Check that if you want.
