how do I wire up neons under the dash?



they are 14'in, if that even matters

Well your gonna need to grab 12v power from somewhere, run that to a switch and run ground from the switch to a ground on the chasis. Don't forget to fuse your powere wire either. Then you just hook the light/lights up to the switch/switches.

where at under that dash? i put two 12"s in my car, one under the steering column, the other under the glove box. the one under the glove box i just zip tied to the metal bar behind it. the other i removed the panel where the hood release is and drilled two holes into that and screwed the light into it.
i hard wired one of the 4 out let cigarette adapters to the back of the lighter, and just ran the wires under the center consold and plugged them into the adapter.

I did what BlackNWhiteRS did on mine and they turned out great. It's not too hard, just tap into any reliable source that has enough power and won't be affected by your lights. Make sure the lights have a ground, wire both lights to the swtich and also a ground the switch. And don't forget to wire in a fuse...anyways, here's some pics of mine:

i installed MANY neons and for everyone that was inside the car i took the power from the radio.

yup i have installed many as well... another good place is the cigarette lighter, switch them too, so that when the switch is on, you CAN"T forget and leave them on when the car is off. they turn off with the ignition.

Also there are sometimes unused fuse blocks in the driver side kick panel. With these one side will have power while the other is supposed to go to an option that you don't have. What I did is I got a spade terminal crimp and inserted it into the 12V supply side of the fuse.
I disconnected my cigarret lighter and conjured up a two position push switch that sits in the old lighter chassis. Now when you push on my cigarret lighter my interior lights come on and when you push again they go off. I didnt want any switches out in the open.

I have done the same thing, but i just used the power wire coming from my headlight switch. that way when i turn my lights on the neons come on. when i turn them off so do the neons. cant ever leave them on, unless lights get left on. will post pics when i get some.
