I'm needing the rubber gasket that seals the timing cover to the block. I can't seem to find anyone selling this, every time I search it comes up with the entire lower cover. Nothing for just the rubber that goes in the edge of the cover. Anyone have a source for the rubber gasket?

Just buy some high density foam and press it in. It will seal for longer, be cheaper to replace and wont harden like the rubber will.

Hey Guys. I got to thinking about this and searched Amazon for rubber strips and after trying a few different thicknesses I found some 1/8 x 2" x 10' strips. I cut down a strip the width needed for the cover and it fit pretty good. I ended up putting some gasket maker to hold it in because of the curves, maybe a little glue would be better but figured gasket maker would be easier to remove later on. It's pretty heat resistant also, I put a lighter to it and it held up well. I left it taped up to dry and hold it in and will I'll install this tomorrow. Hopefully this helps someone later down the road.
