So ive gotton to a point where ive run out of things to maintain and all is well, everything has been checked and service is upto date, now i am looking at doing stuff that might not need doing but i will as an upgrade and because it might need doing in the future,

First on my list is the prothane total kit for the suspension and roll bars. Mine are not bad but its an old car so i thought it would be good then i can re powder coat them to a new finish and thats that done,

Question is what else should consider to change or do. I need some ideas.

Im thinking water temp sensor and gaskets around the area.

Installing Poly bushings wouldn't be a bad idea. Even if the bushings don't look damaged, the bolts could be (usually are) seized in the sleeves and stopping things from pivoting like they should. And it's good for curing that itch to work on your car. It's a PITA no matter how you go about it, and you start to regret it half way through. LOL Just make sure you have all the stuff you need before hand, like a torch, arbor press or vice, sawzall with new fine tooth blades, and a good source of quality Metric bolts.

Otherwise, I say don't fix what isn't broken or likely to break. It never hurts to test/replace old sensors, especially vital ones like the ECU's water temp sensor. But if the T-stat housing isn't leaking there's no point in tearing it apart just to reseal it (those parts use Silicone sealant FYI).

Also sounds like you need some more horsepower. If you don't have an infinite list of things that could maybe use a little adjusting or repair, then you don't have enough. :D

Yeah ive got a local place which i intend to buy all new bolts anyway and i have a Press at work and anything else i need i can grab from work.

I will leave the housing then and just change the temp sensor then as thats the only item never changed in that housing.

And yes i need more power LOL i did buy a 16g and 20g but im not ready for these turbos yet, but i do need to spend time calibrating my car with link as i know thats the issue with no extra power.

Thanks wes
