Well thought I would see if I could get some opinions on my project/buildup and see if I could get some pointers/ input on my setup. As of right now everything is taken apart, the block and head are ready for machine work... I've Rhino coated the engine bay and cleaned the living crap out of everything.. here's what I got right now...

SBR 2.3L 7-bolt stroker kit (the Kar King swap came out a week to late otherwise....)
SBR Exhaust Manifold
PTE 60-1 internal gate and stage 3 turbine
750cc injectors
Walbro 255lph high pressure fuel pump
Aeromotive FPR
SBR FMIC w/ blow-thru
GM MAF with translator
1g intake manifold
Prothane Engine mounts
Dejon tool 3" intake
Full gasket kit

As of right now I am having the michine shop do the valve job and I will be porting the intake side of the head to match the 1g intake. Looking to get 350-400 ponies out of this setup... Couple of questions I have is:
- Will i be able to tune with the SAFC on this setup?
- Does the MAF-T have corrections on it for the 750cc's?
- Anything Else you guys think will be helpful...

Thanks for the space...you guys are bad ass~!

you spent all that money just to tune with a MAF-T?? WTF

at the very least get a compensated ECU + SAFC.. but you have an unbelievably potential setup at your fingertips right now. your tuning will be holding you back.

get DSMlink or AEM.. then look for 450+whp :thumb:

I am getting a SAFC to start with and when I sell my 91 TSI AWD I will invest in DSM link. I was just curious if the MAF-T had compensations on it for 750cc's. As for the crankwalk issue... I am not looking to go beyond 400 so I should be safe... just lookin for one mean a$$ daily driver/track car..

Any other opinions would be nice... Keep 'em coming~!!!

the point of my last post is that crankwalk does not come with more horsepower.. it can happen to any car.. modded or not. there have been cases of freshly built 7 bolts walking within 500 miles,.. and there have been cases of motors walking at over 150k.. there have also been a million more cases where they DONT walk at all.

you should look more into the MAFT.. 750 inj compensation on an SAFC would be maxing the poor thing out

Thanx for the input... I just need the SAFC to get me runnin.. After that I WILL (if everything goes to plan) be gettin DSMLink.. I have one more huge question......

Can I put the Tranny back in the car with the engine still out or do I have to put it all in at once.... or is it easier to install the tranny and engine together??????

You are definitley going to need a good clutch. That stocker wont last long with that setup.

As far as the clutch thing goes... I have the SBR 3500 Clutch kit (Which has treated me very good with some 6000+ rpm launches).... I have been doing some research and the GM MAFT does have compensation on it for bigger injectors so that should help me get it running... Any other opinions??????

I don't want to offend who that last post was refering to, but thank you for standing up to the crankwalk naysayers. Crankwalk sucks, but so does lightning :D .

But, i think the MAFt tunes on the same principle as the SAFC. Neither will control 750s without significant issues.

Going DSMLink would be a smart move if you want to have a system that you can vary frequently and maintain control presicely.
