Need some advice on my rods

I need some advice on reusing these rods. There are no grooves that catch my fingernail and the crank looks amazing. Ive done some research and believe that polishing them up should do the trick. Theres also some discoloration on the rods. Should i be worried? Thanks in advance.

Those rods were recently resized, with a rather rough stone. Also, when the pistons were hung on them it looks like a torch was used, instead of a rod heater, that is the discoloring.

Really, I bought the car from some guy and it ran really good. I was just refreshing my block and checking it out while I tuck my bay. So can those be reused or should i get some better one?

I would take the rods to a speed shop and have them look at them. If they aren't helpful and you are still worried about them and you have the money to upgrade then it couldn't hurt to upgrade.

agreed they will know what to look for and be able to tell better than we can with pics.

If you have the funds, eagle rods and new bearings would be good, cheap insurance.

I would junk the rods and buy eagles if your on a budget or crower

What are your HP goals? if 400 or less then the stock rod set up will be fine.

I will agree with donniekak, they have been resized.

The discolor up at the small end is common for a press fit rod.
