ECMlink Need some advice... 3rd gear pull.

I would just like to know if I'm going at this in the correct direction.

I recently switched to the Evo8 Mod 1 timing and A/F tables. The car seemed to like this better than the stock ones.

I'm still trying to calibrate the AFRatioEst and Wideband and get them to line up better.

Should I change the A/F DA table cells that are less than 11.0 to 11.0 since that is my target A/F ratio?

Is the knock at the end of the log rich knock?

And yes my WB gauge and my logged WB A/F are very close if not spot on.

My BoostEst is off compared to my boost gauge but I have no way to log a map sensor the way my car is set up at this moment in time.

My boost gauge was reading 17psi and i believe creeped up to 19psi before I let off.

Is there anything that sticks out that is definitely off and needs corrected?

First off good upgrades. second get ecm link it will make both you and your car happy. it will be more easy to tune your car, you can dial into your fuel injectors, set up boot, work on the A/F maps and control knock on the car. The trick to having or building a reliable and performing dsm is properly tuning your ecu. and that equals Ecmlink/dsmlink *same thing*

Im assuming he has ecmlink based on what he is saying in his post about loading the evo 8 tables. To upload a log click on the paperclip next to the smily face and when the box shows up click browse computer and go to where you have your logs saved, then double click the file, it will bring to to the attachment page then hit upload.

When I start a new thread or reply to a post I dont have a paperclip next to the smiley faces. Is that because im a probationary member? Even though ive been a member since 05.

It may be so I'm not sure but either way u are only 9 posts away from being a member. What does your boost est say at 5500? That is where it should match the boost gauge. You should read the long post about getting boost est and map to match and read the stuff calan says. He is very smart and talented with dsmlink and after reading his advice I had a way better understanding on how everything works.

When replying, you need to click the Advanced button, where you can do a lot more with the post you are creating. If you are being taken to the Advanced page when creating a new thread and the attachment function isn't there....then I'm not sure. It could be a permissions issues as mentioned above.
