Need new shifter knob, Suggestions needed

The Greddy counterweight knob is a great knob for performance, BUT.....

1) After having it for a year, its no longer shiny. Its pitting and it looks like total shit. Ive done nothing to it and it got this way over time. Ugly.

2) Its unbearable in the heat or the cold, you can hardly shift if its been sitting in the sun too long. Better bring a glove in your car.

3) Whatever color sticker you choose to put on there, make sure thats the one you want b/c you aint gettin it off.

Overall for performance, i give the greddy an A+ b/c of the weight and ease of shifting, but it gets an F in all other catagories. I really shouldnt complain since i got it for 25 bucks new, but i am.

any recommendations on where to get either the greddy or that razo shift knob just posted above for the best prices?

I don't know if these are the best prices, but here's the one I have, it's the first on the list and is $30.95 from optauto. I've ordered from them before, they seemed pretty good to me as far as service and shipping. I actually got mine in a local shop and paid around 50 bucks for it

Anyone have any suggestions for nobs other than the greddy or razo?

I have been looking for a thread on, carbon fiber/leather look for a long time....

I got one from www.machv.com for my 1g. Its a weighted 2g knob, and its made by mitsu. It looks just like the 2g knob, fits awsome and is about 6 ounces plus its only 24 bucks. You can check it out here. Its only comes in black, dont let the silver color fool you, they only done that to make the stitching stand out.

What is the thread pitch on the dsm shifter arm? There are 2 or 3 different thread pitches listed for the greddy knob.

I have this bad boy with a red stitched shift boot.....It screws on and feels great.

I have a very odd, but serious question. I want to tap some threads into one of my shift knobs. I have determined the lever is 10mm, but need the thread pitch.... If anyone has ever used a pitch gauge to determine the thread count, please let me know what the results were. Thanks for the space guys, and the help.
