shifter knob questions

i bought a cheap knob at autozone tht goes on with one of those plastic inserts and its a real pain ### its always spinning around. I dnt like the look and feel of the stock knob and deff want something aftermarket that is more of a sphere then an oval.
theres one thing i'd really like to know, do any evo knobs fit the 2g threads?
if so, please let me know which ones

if not, please list some manufacturers and links for threaded knobs tht will fit on a 2g and have the sphere shape

Yes, evo knobs will fit. The thread pitch on the stock shifter is 10M x 1.25, so any knob with that thread will work.

If you are looking for a sphere for a shifter knob, definatly get an evo 8 shift knob. It sounds just like what you are looking for.

The evo leather one would be around $50 and the evo polished / blue one is $120.

sigh, thts too much for me right now, i found a used leather knob for 10 bucks on ebay. Maybe its better ### the metal knobs get REAL HOT in the summer , i burned my hand a few times, and an all black interior prob dnt help much either

naa if i were to get any color it would have to be aluminum. My interior is black on black and the aluminum accents the white gauges nicely and brightens things up a bit . Also i colored the Mitsubishi logo on the steering wheel with silver sharpie and it came out looking really nice

If you want to step it up a notch, you can always buy the ARC titanium shift knob for an Evo.

I'd rather not spend the money on overpriced ARC.. which I believe is now out of business for their overpriced parts.
