Need help with timing belt

I have every timing mark lined up, I just cannot get the belt back over the pulley.

I have the tension tool with the 2 teeth on them, but I do not have the belt tensioner bolt that you use to release the pressure.

Is there any other way to compress the pressure without the belt tensioner bolt?

Like I said, the only issue I am having is getting the belt back around the tensioner pulley.

Yes sir that's better, make sure to rotate it 3 or 6 time to make sure they all line up on marks

Haha that was gonna bug me all night. I will make sure everything else is still on line in the morning. Can hardly keep my old eyes open anymore!

Yep, thats how it should look. Notice how the marks are directly in line with each other, and if you look behind them, they are also level with the head of the deck, also, I forgot to mention, but make sure your dowel pins on the cam gears are in the right location as well.

Yes. As long as the other marks line up. Everything is relative to the crank.
