need help with the stock infinity system please

Well just got a 98 talon with the infinity radio in it and had to get the raio unlock code. After this the radio now turns on but has no sound at all comming out of the speakers. I was wiondering if i did not have the stock amp if this would make no sound come from the radio.
can anyone post pics of how the amp is under the seat and also wich plug under the radio is the plug for the amp?( i looked under the passanger seat where i was tld it should be but cannot find it,

in my 95 eclipse, the stock amp is under the passenger seat, if the audio system is like mine, it will have a bunch of colored wires connecting, plus a large black wire (speakers). if you cant find the amp, then id suggest you pull your stereo unit and make sure everythinng is plugged in

I had this exact same issue when I picked up my 95 GST... I know in my case the wire from the radio that tells the amp to turn on (Was a blue wire in my case) had gotten disco and was not telling the amp to turn on - thus no sound. You could take a look behind your radio and make sure that you dont see any wires disconnected.
