stafford,
Hi,

I just got a toggle switch for my open dp and now i have a ungodly amount of boost creep. I want to get an external wastegate now, but I need some help.

I want to order the 2g ported exhaust manifold with an wg hole, but what else must i do to get the wastegate running properly? Will i have to weld anything shut on the other wg? or is it simple enough to just re run the vaccuum hoses to the wg?

All help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Martin

Ive heard that its a better idea to put the external on the o2 housing, that's how Im going to get my done.

If you get the wastegate mounted on the manifold, then you need to weld the flapper door shut. If you mount it on the O2 housing, then you remove the flapper completely. Both setups are proven to work fine. There are craploads of threads debating which is better if you'd like to give yourself a headache.

I dont know how mounting it on the o2 changes boost creep, but I guess alot of people have done it and are satisfied.
