Ok here is a pic, not mine but only one of an engine bay clean enough to see what I'm talking about. Here is what happened, I had just finished with a 16G evo turbo install and I was trying to get everything cleaned up, but the vacuum hose from my boost guage was chillin in the engine bay, not noticing I started the car up, I was too happy to see it working again, and forgot about the vacuum hose, a second later, the hose goes under, it got sucked into the belts pictured. I got most of the hose out, but now my belt is all messed up, it smacks everytime it turns. Now my question is, is this belt needed? Also some hose is still stuck behing the lower pulley. Is it hard to remove the pulleys? I'm gonna need to replace the belt anyway. But I need the car moving again. Will removing or cuting that belt hurt the car?
