So when I bought the project car the coolant temp wires were missing why idk so I bought a aftermarket gauge from glow shift and need to know how I’d wire it up for accurate reading on ecm link. Any help would be greatly appreciated mind you I’m a newbie and far from an electrician. I also know there are two sensors for the coolant.

you can get a pigtail HERE

if you can find where the wires were cut, solder on a new pigtail. you might need to extend the wires on the connector if they aren't long enough. Make sure and use adhesive lined heat shrink to seal up the splice. Napa charges out the ass for it but you can get by with marine heat shrink from harbor freight

if you can't find where the wires were cut off, you can just run new wires and splice them in at the ECU

the coolant temp sensor (signal to ecu) has 2 wires,
(black/white) and it connects to pin 83 on the ECU,
(black) connects to pin 92 on the ecu (see HERE)

the sending unit for the the coolant temp gauge is one wire (red/yellow) (see HERE)

here is part numbers if you need them
