Hi all, a short background on my car.
Its a 1999 GS, 420A engine, and a few months ago we replaced the engine with a new refurbished 420A block, then shortly after, the Transmission went out. I had the transmission rebuilt and now the car runs almost good as new.

The only problem is that the check engine light is on, and the diagnostics scanner says that the Coolant Temperature sensor is faulty, which I'm sure can affect other components.
I have already replaced the sensor twice and soon the check engine light turns back on.

I purchased the sensors from RockAuto parts, but I'm wondering if someone can suggest a notable brand that is best for my vehicle, and where I could buy it.

Hmm I'll look into it. The first time i replaced it, there was trouble on the cold start. After replacing it the second time, I have no problems starting it up, but the scanner still detects something wrong.
