Need help w/ 93 AWD system...

Hey people, I'm seriously looking at a 93 GSX with 112k on it. Haven't test driven it yet cause it's kinda far but from what I've heard in other DSM's with AWD (TSi's and especially VR-4's) is that the rear-end tends to give right around the 150k point. Also, I work on diesel semis and the turbos always freeze up or totally blow apart at about 96k, how are the turbos on the GSX? Also, what things should I look for that are common to start make noise, need repair, etc. on these cars at about this time. I'm used to Hondas, semis, and 3000GTs so these are new to me. I looked up for recalls etc. on edmunds.com but there is only one and it's for the automatic so... But any info would be wonderful, thanks everyone!

rear ends are not a big problem - depending on past oil changes/turbo timing

used stock turbos are $150 in good shape

rear ends are $400 or less used

In my 90, I've got 175K on everything, and I have the weak 3 bolt rear end.

I'd do all your fluid changes if you get it. I use Redline Shockproof in my transfer case and rear end, and GM Syncromesh in my trans.

The big thing on these, is check when the timing belt was last changed, if it jumps teeth or snaps, it's very likely your valves will get to know your pistons well.
