Need help urgently idle surge and im stuck

I know their have been loads of stuff for these type of things and I am truely sorry for breaking the rules and not searching it up normally I would under all circumstances but right now im stuck at my school with my car idle surging from 1200 -1500 IT HAS NEVER DONE THIS BEFORE. All I have done recently was clean out the intake track and that has been it.

What could cause this randomly and what can I do to test it?

CAN A DEAD OR FAULTY BATTERY CAUSE IDLE SURGE?? My battery needs to be changed as well.

Any help is greatly appreciated if possible.

a battery no but i would read this and try some things out, do a blt, could be a number of things as you can see, isc , vacuum lines, hoses, tb, biss screw a number of things.

Yea ive already been reading it but the fact i I need to go to work i 13 minute 10 minute away and I live 20 minutes away in the opposite direction

Im afraid with idle its sometimes not a easy fix, depending on the issue, you may need a isc, could be a leak, no way to diagnose it in the time you need if only it was that easy.

Good news and update I guess idle surge can be caused by a faulty battery

Filter was changed about 5k miles ago and im about to change the fuel pump but it wasn't a fuel issue ccausing the idle surge.

Well even if my battery was bad why would it cause idle surge? My battery was close to dying so I thought the battery was as dead as can be and the engine kept idle surging to recharge the battery.

Im absolutely positive because it would spike up to 3k then surge between 1200 and 1500. The thing that made me really think it was the battery was that all the lights in the car were dimmer than usual. I knew my battery was about to go out to so thats how I deduced that.

Right now I changed the battery and theres no idle surge or spike anymore.

Maybe the battery didn't have enough power to power everything so thats why it was surging ?
